Format: 

• Team Make Up: 
  • 7v7 - 6 field + 1 goalie 
  • There will also be basic first aid provided - band aids and ice packs.  NO EMT ON SITE
• Game Time/Make Up: 
  • The games will consist of one 25-minute running time half & a 5 minute intermission between games.
  • No time outs are allowed. Game clock does not stop for injuries.
  • Teams will be scheduled to play two games within a 1-hour block (two 25 min games).
  • Tied games will stand - ONLY in playoffs (week 7) will there be a continuation of play until the next goal is scored.
  • All games will be officiated by certified MSHSL referees, with full MSHSL rules.
  • No exposed jewelry allowed.
• Draw:
  • Only one draw, to start each game. 
  • All goals scored after the first draw, the goalie will clear the ball with a free clear in the defensive half.
  • No free clears on saved shots. Backup rule for shots will stand (the closest player to the ball will receive possession).
• Fouls:
  • No 8 meter shots, if there is a foul in the critical scoring area, the player fouled will receive the ball & the player who fouled will go behind the ball carrier. The foul will be considered direct, but space to goal does not need to be cleared.
  • If a referee deems a foul flagrant, that player will sit out for an unreleasable 2 minute penalty. 
• Coaching:
  • Teams may provide their own coaches if desired (MSHSL rules apply that coaches must abide by). 
• Tie Breaker Rules for Playoff Seeding:
  • Winning Percentage as Shown in SportsEngine Standings
  • Head to Head
  • Goals Allowed (Shown as GA in SportsEngine Standings)
  • Goals Scored (Shown as GF in SportsEngine Standings)
