About Our League

For: 

Girls, Grades 8th-12th

 

Chillax League is intended for those planning to play at the high school level for the 2024 season, so full checking and high school rules apply.

 

Requirement:

Each participant must have a USA Lacrosse membership in order to participate. Information on how to obtain a USA Lacrosse membership can be found at www.uslacrosse.org

 

Dates: 

Our 7v7 format games are held each Sunday for 7 weeks - starting November 5th through December 17th (November 5, 12, 19, 26, December 3, 10, 17).

 

December 17th are the playoffs!!

Times: 

Games will be between 1:00 and 6:00 PM

 

Location: 

Savage Sports Dome (13450 Dakota Ave. Savage, MN 55378)

 

Communication: 

•        Each team needs to identify a Team Coordinator for communication to and from Chillax.  We will post the name(s) of the team contact with the rosters on our website - we ask that you coordinate with your team contacts and needs for subs.
•        We will send out weekly emails to the league with updates

 

Format: 

• Each game will be 25 minutes of run time – no half time
• 7v7:  6 field players and 1 goalie
• Teams will typically be scheduled to play two games within a 1-hour block
• Teams may provide their own coaches if desired – please play attention to MSHSL rules regarding coaching
• All games will be officiated by certified MSHSL referees.
• There will also be basic first aid provided - band aids and ice packs.  NO EMT ON SITE

 

Price: 

Field Players $190; Goalies $100

Note:  Includes a new Chillax pinnie for all players

Rosters: 

There is no maximum # of players per team.  We recommend at least 12 in order to field a team consistently.

 

Please indicate what school you plan to be playing with for the 2024 high school season when registering (school attending).  If your team is not listed, or if you’d like to be placed on a team, select “Other” and tell us your school name.

 

If your school will have multiple teams (Prior Lake, Minnetonka and Lakeville South), just select your school and your team coordinators and I will take care of setting the rosters closer to the start of the league.

We h ave 16 teams booked and are investigating expanding the league to 20 teams.

 

Refund/General Information:

Refunds may not be issued if there are weather or other facility cancellations.  Refunds will be at the discretion of PLHS Girls Lacrosse Boosters and communicated out on a per instance basis.

Mouthguards and SEI approved women’s lacrosse goggles must be worn at all times.

Jewelry is not allowed on the field.
